If you’ve been in the Niche Marketing field for any length of time, then you’ve seen all the advertising landing pages telling you about some Internet Marketing software that will make you a million dollars in a week. Or some marketing b.s. like that.

I’ve been making money with affiliate programs since 2001. In this time, I’ve used a lot of software. I can tell you that of all the software I used, I would only buy a few of the programs available if Google didn’t have these free tools available. Most of the software being marketed on the Internet is worthless or there are free versions that do just as good. If I’m being honest here, and I am, the truth is you don’t need a lot of software to make money online.

The free Webmaster tools that Google offers is better than a great majority of the software on the market today. And what’s best is that Google doesn’t charge for it. If you don’t want to shell out big bucks for software, give these free tools from Google a try.

Google Trends is a service from Google I use all the time to spot hot trends. Google Trends is designed to track hot trends in web searches. This web based service tracks what is being searched for today.Want to know what was being searched for last week or last month? Not a problem with Trends. Just look it up. This is powerful for the Internet Marketer because it allows users to see what people are searching for, whether it’s a product, service or information.

Google’s Keyword Research Tool will help you to make cash online. This is one of the most important tool any Internet Marketer could have, especially if you’re into Niche Marketing. This tool shows the approximate number of times a keyword or keyword phrase has been searched for in Google’s search engine in the previous month. It also shows you how many advertisers are bidding on those phrases and how much they’re willing to pay for each click. I use this tool to zero in on profitable niches. This tool is one that most people who make money with Adsense use.

The next free service you should look at is Google’s Webmasters Tool program. You’ll have to have a Google account in order to use this program. This is an important tool for those of you with websites. This tool from Google will show you the top 20 keywords that your site ranks for along with how many backlinks your site has.

Google Analytics is another tool you’ll need a Google account for. This tool allows you to compile serious data concerning the visitors to your website. There are a lot of expensive programs out there that can’t do what Analytics can do for you. I could write a book about all the features and benefits that Google Analytics offers Webmasters. Analytics will tell you whether each visitor came from a website or search engine amoung other things. This is invaluable information when you’re trying to figure out where your traffic is coming from and how well your offers are converting.

This goes to prove you don’t have to have large sums of money to be successful in Internet Marketing. With these free tools from Google, there is no need in spending a lot of money on other programs. Save the money you’d spend on high priced software programs and outsource several of the chores you hate to do!
